curious (CPU temps)

cant seem to find any info in my manual, however lm curious what the damage temp of the Intel Core i5 4440 is, as lve seen people mention going over 80c with no issues. any info (hopefully linked to a manual or information from intel itself would be greatly appreciated).

I could go up to 102 C (with Prime95) in Intel Core i7 and still don't get BSOD.
Idle temp is 48-52C. 82-90C while Assassins Creed IV.
Mine is 2nd generation SandyBridge. But for 4th gen Haswell , this needs to minimum atmax 80C.

if HWmonitor is reading correctly l guess my temps are reasonable, with an ambient room temp of 21c its reading around 30c which isnt bad considering my old AMD 6000+ read at least 34 (and that was at a cooler ambient temp with a arctic cooler pro 7 rev2), pretty surprised how cool its running compared to what it was like in similar weather of my old setup.

either way lm happier l got off my arse and built this system, been procrastinating a good week waiting for cooler weather (hate summer, it tends to enduce sweating and l dont think its a good idea get sweat onto components), in any case being my first intel build its been interesting considering lve tended to go AMD for most of my builds, regardless lm pretty impressed with the performance boost.

the only annoyance lve had is from my wireless being slightly annoying, but updated USB drivers seem to of helped as the connection speed doesnt seem to be fluctuating as wildly as before it was jumping between 6 and 130mbps but now it seems to be around 130/140mbps with occasional 70mbps drops. before the drivers updates l ran l was getting allot of browser timeouts.. was pretty annoying.
