current language for non-unicode programs to English

Hi everyone!

While current language for non-unicode programs is in English, the Arabic texts are encryption and aren't shown properly in any text files.

However, when I changed the non-unicode programs to "Arabic, the texts are shown properly in all Arabic texts.

The most strange is that VGA driver changes to Arabic when I change current language for non-unicode programs to Arabic.

But it is still English when current language for non-unicode programs is English.

I was excepting that VGA(CATYLAST program) was in Arabic when I the driver software was in Arabic.

However, this is not true, and the evidence is that the language changes to Arabic when current language for non-unicode programs to Arabic, and to English when current language for non-unicode programs to English

What is the relationship between current language for non-unicode programs and VGA program?
I think it should still have been shown in English whatever current language for non-unicode programs to English/Arabic?

I would like to add some other information which may be making my inquiry a little clearer

While current language for non-unicode programs to English::

When I save a text file containing Arabic contents with Encoding 'ANSI', I faced this error.

However, when I saved it in Encoding as 'UNICODE' or any of the others, it was saved properly.

However, the other previous texts containing Arabic contents are still encryption until I change current language for NON-UNICODE programs in control panel from English to Arabic.
How can I edit the others without changing current language for NON-UNICODE programs in control panel?

In addition: while current language for NON-UNICODE programs to English, the Arabic translation in Gloden Alwafi program is shown encryption. However, when I change current language for NON-UNICODE programs to Arabic, all Arabic translations are shown properly

Finally: This is really, really something most strange: the shortcuts of LighhtScribe Direct Disc labeling program sometimes are shown in Arabic and other times are shown in English, although my system is an English version.

The original base language of the system is English, which I have chosen while installing Windows 7 home premium. There were two language Arabic and English.


Do you mean with MUI with Multilingual User Interface, if so
How can I have both English and Arabic MUI's installed in my system. My Windows 7 home premium doesn't have an option to change the user interface, the user interface is English if I have chosen English while installing Windows, however, it is Arabic if I have chosen Arabic.

However, when I reinstalled another windows 7 ultimate 64 bit, I saw there is an option to change the UI to either (Arabic, English, France)

But also, this didn't do any difference with what I have been asking.
In other words, when I installed another windows edition(Windows 7 ultimate), which has an option to change UI to be English or Arabic, I didn't find any difference.
The bottom 'Graphics properties' option in the screenshot below is still shown in English if the system local language is English.

However, it is shown in Arabic if System local language is Arabic.

So bottom 'Graphics properties' Option seem relateded to system local language.

As you see the left half of the screenshot above is shown in English, although I clicked on an option is shown in Arabic in the right half of the screenshot above.


In the other hand, the top 'Graphics properties' option is still shown in English regardlessss of whether system local language is English or Arabic (screenshot below)

So I shouldn't have seen any Arabic contents as long as the system base language is English.

Besides, the most important problem is that while system local language is English, all contents in any text files are encryption until I change system local language to be Arabic.

I think you're misunderstanding Windows' language abilities a little.
Windows can only work in one main language at a time - but will accept programs which work in other languages (given certain other conditions)
Thus none of what I see in your snapshots is really unexpected.

The programs installed may or may not support Arabic (or English), and Windows cannot do anything about that. Where you are seeing the main language is where the data is being pulled from Windows, rather than the installed Program.- if that program doesn't accept Unicode, then all sorts of strange characters can appear.

IF you have a look at my screenshots (the third and sixth) posted in #1 again, you will see that icon of Intel Graphics and Media highlighted is shown in Arabic when current language for non-unicode programs is Arabic and in English when current language for non-unicode programs is English.
What is the relation between current language for non-unicode programs and icon of Intel Graphics and Media?
Why does the language of appearing icon of Intel Graphics and Media depend on the current language for non-unicode programs?

If it were as you said that programs installed may or may not support Arabic (or English), so they would be still shown in the language in which they were shown( Arabic or English) and wouldn't be affected by changing current language for non-unicode programs.
In other words, icon of Intel Graphics and Media must be still shown either English or Arabic regardless of whether the current language for non-unicode programs was changed or not.
