Using Win7, my cursor blinks every about .5 second apart and computer acts strangely. I can seem to name files and thinks because the things jump around.

I have scanned for viruses, etc. I wonder if it could be my power supply? Any way to check on that?

Any other things it might be?

Thanks.

Fill in your system specs and more specifics on the issue, please. [Not enough info gets threads ignored]

64-bit not 54 by the way, I know a typo.... :)

PSU wise, best to add a PSU checker to your supplies, one like:

Rexus PST-3 Network/ PC Service Tools - Newegg.com
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On your system:

I would get CCleaner from piriform.com and run analyze and see what it shows.

Run SFC /scan now from an (admin) command prompt [verifies Windows system files]

Run dxdiag see if anything video related on the other tabs shows up as problem.

So much more.....

Thanks. Now it is not doing it.

Sorry, but what is SFC/Scan?

sfc /scannow

That verifies all the Windows 7 critical system files are still good.

No space in that, typo in first response.
