I am in the process of revamping my music files into a better database. For right now, I'm just doing it through the windows folders. Since the files are MP3, the folders know they are music and it gives the options of Song Title, Artist, Genre, etc. When entering a genre, there are some standard ones that pop-up, like Rock, Christmas, etc. If I wanted to add something to those standard options, how would I do this? For instance, I want a personal genre called 80s for all my 80s music, is there a way to have that be a pop up I can just click rather than having to type in 80s for every song? thanks in advance for your help!!

Welcome to Seven Forums NofJandN. I don't think so. What you could try is

Right click an (80's) mp3> Properties> Details> Genre> Change genre to 80's

See if that doesn't add 80's to the pop up. I would try it, but quite honestly, I am not sure where exactly you are seeing the genre pop up with the standard choices. A Guy
