Couple questions to try help:
- Could you put up a screen shot of what you mean...?
- What method are you using to change the Orb (Kishan's 'Start Orb Changer' / using Resource Hacker / etc)?
- Also, what type of image are you using (32-bit BMP / JPG / PNG / etc)?

just right click on the image and save it. it will be in .png format. open it in paint - resize it to 54x162 pixels and save as .bmp then use it.

This is exactly what I got


Please dont take it otherwise, pal ... but I think the ORB size is to be 40x40 a maximum to fit in the taskbar, the background should be black, and alpha channel is to be adjusted to make a orb work perfectly .

That is what I wanted to mean, raj ! This transparent PNG is just for preview.


If it is wanted to use it, it is to use the bmp (made technically with the matching sizes of buttons that will fit the taskbar and transparent background through alpha adjustments, not just a conversion of the Preview PNG) View attachment 2.zip

Sorry Raj bhai !! The stuff are awesome ... but neither Kishan Bajaria's start orb changer not the Restorator technique to modify explorer.exe made me happy. I cannot change a transparent png to a black background bmp. May I ask you which process do you follow to apply them ?

I've looked trough loads of pages and got me a whole bunch of sweet orbs, thanks
I was wondering if anyone has a nice alien startknob lying arround ?

And also could someone make a stargate orb ?
Like a cirkel when not doing anything, lid up like it's connecting on hover and connected wormhole on click or smth like that ?

hey arc i am having a problem..... i have just installed ptoshop cs5 bt cant find the fill tool there....... can u help
