Custom theme preventing login?

On Windows 7 64bit, I'm using UxStyle services to allow the use of custom themes (although the problem still persists with the traditional method of patching uxtheme.dll).

I've modified a Windows 7 theme and replaced the taskbar/window images.
The theme works fine within windows, however, when I restart the computer, when logging in I am presented with a black screen, and jumped back to the login screen.

If I prevent the theme from loading (disabling the UxStyle process/restoring original dlls in Safemode), the login is successful, and I am even able to re-enable UxStyle and apply my theme.

I'm having a hard time finding anybody else with this issue, so I'm yet to find a solution.
I've attached the theme in a zip file.

Any ideas?

I tested your theme in VMware and I was able to restart with no problems at all.

I have a couple questions.
#1 how did you edit the .msstyles?

#2 did this start out as a third-party custom theme from the Internet?

Why I am asking is in the original aero.msstyles image folder there is 600 images starting with number 508 and going to 1108, your .msstyles image folder has 790 images numbers start at 10000 and go to 10759.

If that theme was created with Windows Style Builder then there would be extra images one of my custom themes has 779 images, but it still starts out on image number 508 and goes to 1280.

I found a theme called +1 and edited it.

It's strange that it worked fine for you...
Is there anything that can prevent the user logging on related to themes? I would assume that if there were missing images or something, it would substitute Aero/Basic assets instead of booting the user back to the login screen.

I cannot think of anything a theme would do to login, and if a theme does fail most of the time it goes to Classic theme. All I can say is you my need to start a new theme and try again.

The problem remains, I couldn't log in today.
I now use sleep mode instead of shutting down, to prevent having to log in.

Anybody else have any ideas?

It definitely isn't an issue with UxStyle, as replacing dlls reproduces the problem too.
I'm certain it's something to do with the theme file, however, I have no idea what's wrong with it.

Yes, they all work fine until I change any of them myself using Style Builder.

Ignore the URL, the program is designed for 7 too.
I often see it referred to as Windows Style Builder to avoid confusion.
