Custom Themes, Icons and Start Buttons.

If you want your picture inside the start menu you could try putting the Taskbar at the top, although I don't understand why that would be preferable, I personally like having it where it is.

Yeah,I like the task bar on the bottom also,I've tried it on top on other os installs,and no way!You know I just don't get it,but why have the user pic inside the frame on Vista,Server 2008,and now 7 with the basic install or theme,and sticking half way out on Aero or Windows 7 theme? To me it's like a picture on the wall with half the pic sticking out of the frame!I can't believe that I'm the only one who feels this way,and I don't think I am because a guy,VG,on deviant art,that made a theme for Vista basic,that gives you the Aero look,and he said when he can he will do one for Win7 also,so I'm hoping it won't be long.I know this is just the first beta release,and maybe I'm overeacting,but it's just one of those little things that drives me crazy,like an itch you can't scratch.For now I'll just work around it and see what the future brings. And thanks for your and everybody elses quick responses.I think I really like this forum!

So here is my theme to comemerate the the final season of Battlstar. (Ok, not really. I just had a idea for a theme). I played with padding and stuff in this one, and will add icons in the next release.

Your theme doesn't work you need to save it as a themepack and not theme, check the save options in save theme.

Although I really like the Windows seven themes, I still cant get over the fact that vista looked totally awesome. So I made this theme:

Not bad guys, here is another Vista themepack, with the original backgrounds, well at least most of them are.



Vista Ultimate Themepack

Here are some sound Schemes as well, although I'm not sure how to change them without changing each individual sound, the way I overcome that obstacle was to make a backup of my default sounds and just copied all the new sounds into the media folder and overwrite any of the default sounds and it all works fine.

Just remember to back up the originals if you want to change back. Also if any one knows the right way to do it let me know, thanks.
