Hi tbone ... once I tried 3Ds Max influenced by you ... but later Abhishek told me C4D is easier to use , so I am trying it . Now I will try the tutorials

OK I am telling you what I have done here ... extremely simple .

First of all I took a basic shape and applied extrude as you have shown me earlier . Applied the lights ... one from top, and two for two top corners . Adjusted the colors . Now copied that shape in front of the first, exploded it until I am satisfied with the look , Lightened the color , and took a multipass render . Edited the glows with photoshop later .

Object > Deformation > explosion ... adjusting the explosion values .
