I have DIR 655 router. On the side there is a small button that when pressed it blinks. I cant find anywhere in the manual that explains the purpose. Does anyone know what it is for?

Thanks.

If you're talking about the button on the right side that has two arrows in a circle, that's the Wi-Fi Protected Setup button. You're right, the manual never mentions it. I have a DIR-601, which also has the button and no mention in the manual. I've never used this function, but I think it is the hardware equivalent to pressing the Wi-Fi Protected Setup button in the web-based configuration utility.

I found a place that said pushing the button would give a guest 2 minute internet access on your network.
