OK I installed the JMicron driver you linked too and enabled driver verifier. It booted fine so I'll just keep an eye on it and post any BSOD dumps that happen. Not sure if this is related or not, but I thought I'd mention it. When I open explorer all the directories work just fine, but when I click to view my Downloads directory it takes longer than usual to show the files. There is a green bar that moves slowly across the top. It only seems to happen right after a reboot and is usually fine after the first time. Is that normal? I have Microsoft Security Essentials installed.

P.S. Unrelated note, I just noticed this but how did my thread get marked as solved?

Probably what's happening is that you have a large Downloads folder, and it takes a little bit to get necessary info (thumbnails, etc) loaded.

Check the size, see if you can delete some videos and the like.

OK so here is the dump files since the last one I uploaded. There is 3 of them. The last one was kinda weird, the screen turned really dim and I could barely see what it said. Also I checked the size of my Downloads folder and there is only 3 gigs in it.

Looks like MagicISO is causing the problem. It is pre-Win7 RTM, so it should be updated.

Now I must admit a mistake on my part. I assumed the JMicron drivers in the list were listed chronologically, latest on top. I didn't even bother to check dates.

Now I see I gave you the older drivers to install, so you'd better install these new ones: ftp://driver.jmicron.com.tw/jmb36x/XP_Vista_Win7/JMB36X_WinDrv_R1.17.58_WHQL.zip

OK I updated the JMicron drivers and uninstalled MagicDisk. I couldn't find a newer version of it though, that's the one on the web site for Windows 7. Any recommendations for a better way to mount ISO files? Thanks and I'll let you know if it happens again.

Here is another dump file I woke up to this morning. My son said he opened up virtual box and that's when it BSOD. Problem with virtual box? I'm pretty sure it's the newest version, 3.2.8.

The dump blames VirtualBox. Perhaps try to recreate the problem by using VBox.

Also, please remove SPTD with this tool: http://www.duplexsecure.com/download/SPTDinst-v172-x64.exe

Watch carefully for errors from MagicDisc.
