Solved Daily BSOD with BCCode 109 while web browsing. HP AMD Laptop.

Hi,

Im getting frequent bsod's with code 109 multiple times a day. they occur while web browsing and sometimes at idle. it mentions something about ntoskrnl.exe too
HP Pavillion G6 notebook. amd phenom II P650 2.6 Ghz.

some additional info. Hp has some diagnostic tests in the bios setup. It ran a long, short, and smart test on the HD. All where fine. It ran a test on the memory, it was fine.

I ran some windows based tests on the HD, I used the seatools for windows. It falied every test within 5 seconds and then stopped running the test. it failed the smart test too.

MSINFO32:

• Please go to Start and type in "msinfo32.exe" (without the quotes) and press Enter.
• Save the report as an .nfo file, then zip up the .nfo file and upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.
• Also, save a copy as a .txt file and include it also (it's much more difficult to read, but we have greater success in getting the info from it).

Check for heating issues using Speccy or HWMonitor. Upload a screen shot with either of the tools:

What antivirus are you using?

Make scans with the following:

Kaspersky TDSSKiller

• Anti-rootkit utility TDSSKiller

ESET online scanner:

• Free Online Virus Scanner | ESET

Run the System File Checker that scans the of all protected Windows 7 system files and replaces incorrect corrupted, changed/modified, or damaged versions with the correct versions if possible:

• Click on the rb:
• Type CMD on Search
• Left click and Run as Administrator
• Type SFC /scannow

Run Disk Check on your Hard Drive for file system errors and bad sectors on it:

Upload a screenshot of your hard disk using Crystal Disk Info:

the antivirus is MSE.


the av scan found 2 things.
check disk was fine.

sfc was fine.

Follow this..

The caution indication can be converted to good using CrystalDiscInfo. Click on the caution Button, you will get another window ....

In the resulting window, there are three sliders in the left. Drag them to the ultimate left, and notice the values at the right side are converting to zeros.

Now click the apply button, and notice that the caution is gone.
