Daily BSOD...

Yeah, I got back into the PC. Isn't there a way to do a restore without it deleting the minidump? Isn't that above minidump old?

I also just deleted the driver - but I have a feeling I'll get hit with another BSOD sometime soon. We'll see.

Cheers, Axe. You've been a great help.

You have provided 2 dumps, 1 is old and I cannot read it, the other is the 1 from today which blames that driver. But to note, the dump from today was NOT caused by driver verifier.

If you get another BSOD, please use the tool and upload the zip file.

Alright. I'll most likely get another BSOD in the upcoming days - we'll see. I'll bump this thread with the minidump when if it happens.

Appreciate your help. Thank you very much.

There are many causes for this crash.
Fortunately, the dump has enough information
Code:
KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR (7a)
The requested page of kernel data could not be read in. Typically caused by
a bad block in the paging file or disk controller error. Also see
KERNEL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR.
If the error status is 0xC000000E, 0xC000009C, 0xC000009D or 0xC0000185,
it means the disk subsystem has experienced a failure.
If the error status is 0xC000009A, then it means the request failed because
a filesystem failed to make forward progress.
Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000020, lock type that was held (value 1,2,3, or PTE address)
Arg2: ffffffffc000009d, error status (normally i/o status code)
Arg3: fffffa8008226078, current process (virtual address for lock type 3, or PTE)
Arg4: 0000000000000000, virtual address that could not be in-paged (or PTE contents if arg1 is a PTE address)

Debugging Details:
------------------

ERROR_CODE: (NTSTATUS) 0xc000009d - STATUS_DEVICE_NOT_CONNECTED

[COLOR="Red"]DISK_HARDWARE_ERROR: There was error with disk hardware[/COLOR]

BUGCHECK_STR: 0x7a_c000009d

I have a SSD, one HDD and one USB HDD connected to the PC. I will run this test now and get back to you.

Update: They all passed the tests, I didn't do the SSD. I did all possible tests except for the "Long Generic" test. Should I do that as well? It will take some time. It says 3 or so hours.

Edit: About to try chkdsk.

Please do the long generic tests on all the hard drives.
It surely takes a while, but the long generic test is the test that checks every sector of the hard drive.
The short test passes in almost every case.

Please check your SSD with chkdsk.

Okay, so I did chkdsk on my SSD and got the result before the system restarted, it didn't have any errors on the list - it looked like this from the above thread you linked:

Would the chkdsk make a document after the the PC restarted... one that I could upload to you so you can go over it yourself?

Also, since this is a new page for the thread I'll just quote my previous post:

My two cents worth TC mate run these aagain and the others please.

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/433-disk-check.html< if necessary include the /f and /r in the command line as per Option2 (in safe mode is a wise way to go)

then these

http://www.superantispyware.com/

https://www.malwarebytes.org/lp/sem/5/?gclid=CJTmq6iGpscCFYqCvQodbfMN1A (free version and untick the trial option when it comes up

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/

ADW download from bleeping computer delete any rubbish found with the malware scans

(Anyone running Kaspersky internet security will find it rants about ADW - ignore it or disable Kaspersky while running ADW)
Then do this for me as I like to start with the essential but very basic stuff first as I prefer to eliminate rathe than go stabbing around in the dark not that I am suggesting you and axe have been but it makes more sense to me to again start with the basics and it doesn't come more basic than the PSU.

Using HW Info

PART A:

You can test the volts onthe PSU with HW Info HWiNFO,HWiNFO32/64 - Download <download the right bit version and close the right hand window select Sensorsand scroll down to the power section where you will see what the volts aredoing see my pic. In my pic the section (Nuvoton)with VBATT is a dead give away you are in the section for the rail voltages. There are other section titles and one that pops up often is ITE

Now the voltage on thedifferent rails have to be within 5% =+/- of what is required or the machinewill not work properly if at all.

See this for the railvoltage info

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/power-supply-specifications-atx-reference,3061.html (Section 2.)

The original right handwindow shows the machine running and is handy for that but for looking at thecomponents in some detail close it and use the main left hand side panel

FOR OTHER COMPONENTS

PART B:

Open each small squarewith + in it on the section the components are in and then click on theindividual component/s (it willhighlight in blue) - in the right hand side will appear all sorts of detailsincluding brands speeds and other essential info that particular device. Seepic for example.
Use PART A: and send a pic http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/9733-screenshots-files-upload-post-seven-forums.html

Lastly please mate do this http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/180324-system-info-see-your-system-specs.html - very difficult to help if we don't know what you have got in the machine.

Myself I cannot undo RAR files and would rather you do this

Ah yes, I see chkdsk was only performed on the SSD.
The HDD indeed is failing, backup the data and replace it.

@ThatCreeper, just to note, using SeaTools on a SSD is useless because the result is invalid.
That is why I added the part about SeaTools and SSD's in the Diagnostics Test instructions.
