Hello, all.
I have here an Acer Aspire T180, and would like to decrease the RAM speed. I think I have some bad RAM, since I keep getting errors in Windows, such as CRC checks, BSODs, etc. This is definitely caused by the RAM.
Memtest86+ and Windows Memory Diagnostic Test both show no errors in the RAM. They used to, but I had a technician clean the faulty RAM stick, and now it brings up no errors.
I believe this is because MemTest86+ is testing it at a slower speed than Windows uses. I would like to decrease the maximum speed at which the RAM is used, to avoid corruption etc.
I can provide any necessary details if asked for them.
I need this done by tonight, realistically, so any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Tom.
