I want ALL my folders to show content as details.
Even if they are pictures.
How do I do that?

Tried the folder options in the Config Screen (sorry, trying to translate from Dutch) but that won't work, plus I'm in a wrong folder, because that's one of the few I want to see as icons...

The best way I've found to go about that is to open any folder you like, select the 'details' view, then open the Folder Options, go to the second tab called View, and once there, click 'Apply to All Folders'. I think I've done this for random folders on all my different drives, and it usually does what I think you are after. Every folder will now display the 'Details' view by default.

No luck

Having read and tried everything, but I can't get it as I want to...
Just too many buts and ifs!
So there is no easy solution?

barend,

Brink gave you the solution, but it might be a little confusing.

Try 3. To Set Documents Folder Template as Default for All Folders
After running the .bat file for "Documents Folder" - go to your Documents folder and arrange the window how you want all folders to appear.
- Right click on the Documents Folder window and select view details (or your choice)
- Right click on the Documents Folder window and select sort by date modified (or your choice)
Continue organizing the Documents folder until it looks like you want it to look.
then click on the organize button on the Documents folder tool bar - MUST be in Documents folder, click the folder options - view tab (middle tab), and click the apply to folders button.

Everything was in the two tutorials Shawn pointed to, it's just that the document template Win7 thingy isn't all that intuitive. Once you get the hang of it, it makes sense.
