1. You don't set up an e-mail client. You choose one to install.
Windows 7 does not have a built-in e-mail client.
So, which e-mail client have you chosen ?
Such as Windows Live Mail, Thunderbird, Microsoft Outlook ....etc.

2. Comcast is an ISP ( internet service provider ).
Is comcast the one who connected you to the internet ?
If yes, you need the following from comcast :

E-mail address
Password
Username
Incoming server name ..... it should be .... mail.comcast.net
Outgoing server name ..... it should be .... smtp.comcast.net

so, tell us ...
1. which is your e-mail client
2. confirm to us that you are using comcast as your ISP,
then I can show you how to setup an e-mail account.

Since you won't disclose which e-mail cliebt you are using, there is little left for me to help you. Except this.....
If you are going to use Windows Live Mail, here is the download link :
Windows Live Mail 2011

Here is the correct settings to configure Comcast to Windows Live Mail :

Incoming server name : mail.comcast.net
Checkmark at " This server requires a secure connection (SSL) "
Port # is 995 NOT 110

Outgoing server name : smtp.comcast.net
Checkmark at " My server requires authentication "
Checkmark at " This server requires a secure connection (SSL) "
Port # is 587 NOT 25

If you are not using Windows Live Mail, then tell us which one.
