How can I get Windows 7 to default view to list? I also asked on another thread, but will ask here too, is the 'Thumbnail' view gone??? Can I do anything to get a 'thumbnail view?'

On the task bar on top, to the right of "Organize, Open, Share With, Email, Burn New Folder," there is an icon that looks like a box with parallel lines; click on that. Extra large icons will give you large thumbnails.

Thanks Ambimom ;). Do you know how to get it to default to list? I need that when I'm not in 'My Docs,' when viewing another program with tons of files...?

I'm no expert because I've only been using Windows 7 for about 10 days, but it seems that once you select a folder view, it stays that way until you change it again...
