Deleting a 2nd User account & its safety in not deleting anything else

Hoping this is the right place to ask my question and that the title is OK.
I was asked to create a 2nd user account with 'Administration privileges'. Having done so I no longer need it. In trying to delete it I got a pop up window asking me if I wanted to save some of my files (My Documents etc.) onto a folder on my desktop.
I did absolutely nothing with that other account except for trying to see if a game would work. No files were created, saved, moved or anything like that. What worries me is that a quick look at, for ex., 'My Documents' folder I could see some folders there that also exist on my main account. My question is this: Will saying 'no' to keeping/saving files, and therefore agreeing to deleting everything affect my original account in any way?--do I risk losing anything? Thank you

If you know for sure there's no files under that User to lose, then go ahead and delete it. If in doubt, save the folder on desktop until you are sure.
