Dell Inspirion 6400 Wont find my router?

Hi,

I recently installed Windows 7 Ultimate, After having XP for 2 years and reformatted, to upgrade

I dident have to install any drivers, As Wireless already worked, Found my router, connected, Sorted.

3 days later, I get 'No Internet Access' But still connected to the router, Then, i turn off wireless and back on, To realize it dosent even show up on the list.

I still can find the neighbours, But the router also works with my PS3 (Wireless), Proving both the Wireless card in my laptop, and the router works.

I'm at my wits end, Please help!

Not to be a bumper, but, I did Find out something which may be doing something

I use Comodo Firewall, and i use their own DNS server, meant to be faster etc because of their own space. Could that be affecting my router?

Urgh, 40 views, No help as of yet.

Btw, I'm on my laptop posting this, pulled the ethernet out of Desktop and plugged into laptop, And this works fine, says i'm connected to my router, but still wont find it wirelessly.

Did you try uninstalling comodo? You said you didn't have to install and drivers. Did you try that?

I'd try it, But i was already connected BEFORE i installed comodo, It could be the cause, i'm not sure.

Is you router hiding it's SSID? Windows 7 should still pick it up as "Other Network" Also does your wireless provide a password to get on? like WEP,WPA etc.?

Yes, it's still broadcasting, or, Should be.

And i know the password, it's just it wont even SHOW up on my wireless display.

I still need help, still wont find my router. AT ALL. It does say Network adapter not found in control panel, even though it could connect to another router..
