Dell Inspiron 1545 Will Not Connect to Internet

Please forgive me if this is not posted in the correct location . I have had my laptop for about 4 years. When i first got it it would connect to the internet fine. A year later it wouldn't work. I tried every option i found online to fix it and still nothing.I am not computer savy at all so all i can say is it is a dell inspiron 1545. Windows 7. And i have wireless internet
.any and all help would be appreciated. again sorry for lack on knowledge on the subject. thanks!
also it says connections are available and the.wifi has limited. access but still will not work

Have you tried connecting your laptop to different Wi-Fi networks and still can't connect?

Might be worth to update your laptop's Wi-Fi ethernet driver to the current one from Dell's support site.

If updating the driver didn't resolve your issue we'll need more information by following our networking preposting requirements to further assist you and provide you more troubleshooting guides.
