I have uploaded the minidump folder after zipping it as required...

Please let me know, what is causing these unexpected BSOD crashes..

Crashes are USB related. The following may be relevant 3rd party drivers to that regard. Try to find any updates for them.

  • Start with http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/165554-usb-driver-general-fix-problems.html to resolve the USB issues. Also, USB ports can sometimes enter a safe power state to protect the system from power surges due to USB devices. To reset the USB ports to a nominal power state:
    1. Shut down and turn off the computer.
    2. Unplug the computer from the wall or surge protector (then remove the battery if it is a laptop).
    3. "Remove the computer from any port replicator or docking station, disconnect
cables to printers or devices such as external monitors, USB memory sticks or SD cards, headset or external speakers, mouse or auxiliary keyboard, turn off WIFI and Bluetooth wireless devices." (Use Hard Reset to Resolve Hardware and Software Issues HP Pavilion dv5000 Notebook PC series - HP Customer Care (United States - English))
    4. Hold down the power button for 30 seconds. This closes the circuit and ensures all
power from components is drained to clear the software connections between the BIOS
and hardware and clear any corruption in the temporary memory.
    5. (If it is a laptop, plug the battery back into the laptop and then) Plug the computer back into the wall. Do not reconnect any unnecessary peripherals; monitor, keyboard,
and mouse should suffice and be the only peripherals reconnected.
    6. Turn it on to reinitialize the software connections between the BIOS and hardware

That assumed the problem is in software. Better computer manufacturers also provide comprehensive hardware diagnostics to find and quickly identify any hardware defects. All computer manufacturers have them. Only more responsible manufacturers provide them - for free. Your's is one of those more responsible manufacturers.

The diagnostics are on the hard drive, provided with a CD, and found on the web site. Use the Service Tag number to find more information unique to your particular machine.

Boot Windows or boot the diagnostics. Hardware problems are best solved without Windows loaded. Because Windows works around and tries to avoid problems. Some information on how to do this:

Even if your problem is solved, still run those diagnostics. Learn what a good computer does. So that any future problems are solved without angst.

Blue Screen happened to me on my dell laptop frequently. I ran a system diagnostics and found the memory has some problems. Please check if you have some issues with your memory or any other hardware. I replaced the memory and the problem is solved, I explained more on my blog, Are you getting blue screen often on your Dell laptop? Solutions

Long before PCs existed, better manufacturers always provided comprehensive hardware diagnostics for free. No better way will identify and solve hardware problems. All manufacturers have these comprehensive diagnostics. Only a few manufacturers (ie Dell) provide them - for free.

Many computer techs have little technical knowledge beyond programming knowledge. Today, most have never seen diagnostics - do not even know what these are.

Heat is another diagnostic tool. Comprehensive diagnostics executed in a 70 degree room may find failures. Then diagnostics are executed in a 100 degree F room. Defective hardware is discovered. A defect that may become worse with age - start creating failures in a 70 degree room.

Unfortunately, many see failure when a room is hot. Then blame heat (not defective hardware) for that failure. Many do not learn that defective hardware can still work just fine in a 70 degree room. Eventually that defect will become so bad to cause BSOD and other Windows failure messages in a 70 degree room.

Best test of a new computer (before its warranty expires) is to execute comprehensive hardware diagnostics also in a 100 degree F room. Long before a computer causes serious failures and data loss, execute comprehensive hardware diagnostics - especially in a warmest room.
