Hello all of you!
So my issue is that the sound volume rises from say 30 to 50 when I either paus and resume or
adjusting the volume with the hardware buttons above the keyboard.
This is especially a problem during the night or early morning!
Now the only reason I use the Realtek driver on Windows 7 is that the sound card has a power-save feature.
Without the driver installed the sound card turns on and off every now and then and makes the speakers pop really loud!
If I could survive without the Realtek driver using only the wdm driver it would be great.
Everything but the power management works on the wdm driver its just the popping thats gets old.
I posted this at the Dell community forum but its a pretty dead place.

For this I don't have any technical clue to where to begin..I have never had this kind of issue before on any of my computers.
I am open to suggestions and I will take out a spare drive and install windows 7 on it if you have suggestions to what I can try to do.
(One thing I have not yet tried is to use Driver talent or Iobit booster pro to see what drivers they install)
