Dell only has Vista drivers for this model, although usually the Vista drivers work OK on Win 7.
There is an Intel chipset driver listed on the downloads Drivers & Downloads and if the chipset drivers are not installed many devices may not work. On most Dell's the install sequence is (1) Install Windows (2) Install Dell Laptop System Software (3) Install Chipset Drivers (4) Install device drivers.

The Dell downloads have drivers for your hardware, as noted USUALLY the Vista drivers will work for Win 7.

Windows updates may have support for this problem according to the link below.

Looking for Windows 7 Drivers? | Dell UK

You will also need to activate bluetooth in your bios according to the post below. You should try to install the Vista wlan drivers only from the Device Manager. I have heard this method has worked in the past.

I had the similiar issue with my Dell 1564 -Windows 7 Home Premium 64. But later I found that Bluetooth was disabled in the Bios settings. After enabling in the BIOS, the driver got installed without getting the message 'Activate Bluetooth using Switch'

There are complaints about these drivers not working correctly all over the internet so I wouldn't expect it to work correctly anytime soon.

I also had this problem with my Dell Studio 1557. The laptop was new to me, only had it for 2 days so was unfamiliar with it. I spent hours looking for a fix, to me there was no reason why the wireless would just stop working, at first I thought it maybe overheated and broken the card (The higher processers in the studio range tend to overheat). I had only put the laptop down for 10mins, came back to it and the wireless was not working at all. I finally found the problem after i'd given up, my kitten must have walked across my keyboard hitting the F2 key which is also the wireless key for turning it on and off.. I had not noticed this key before, I had only been looking for a wireless switch on the laptop elsewhere, how stupid I felt after all of the effort I went to trying to fix it :)
