Desktop icon hover highlight

Hi everybody. Does anyone know who to disable the desktop icon hover in windows 7 ? In the same time , i want the visual style to remain the same on windows. I managed to get rid of the hover but my style goes off too,and it looks like windows classic and i don't like it. If anyone can help me i would apreciate. Thanks

Try to right click computer, click properties, then click on your WEI score after that click "Adjust Visual Effects", and try if you can find it there

Hmm that was exactly what i told u that i did But didn't helped. No option from the "Performance Options" will disbale the hover. Only if i disable the "Use visual styles on windows and buttons" but if i disable that windows goes to classic style,like windows 98 )

You could try setting a very slow hover reaction time, but there will be penalties elsewhere.

Your only remaining set of options, at this time, is to hack system files.
