Desktop icon trouble

My desktop icons are being partly cut off and I am not sure how to fix it. The link has a screen shot of what i am talking about if anyone else has had this problem id appreciate it greatly if you could shed some light on how to fix it.

Hello Jim, and welcome to Seven Forums.

It looks like the shortcut arrow overlay icons is messed up. You can use the tutorial below to see if it can restore it for you. You can then remove it afterwards if you like using the tutorial as well without have the overlay icon like it is now.
