Solved Desktop toolbar on the Taskbar causing headache

I have like 50 items on desktop so that's not an option.

I'm just confused about the touchpad scroll function not working. That's the main concern I don't mind too much if the Desktop writing can't be removed.

If you right click the desktop toolbar you'll see "show title". Untick it.

50 items , Holy Cow !!! You must have been one of the people with 50 icons on the desktop LOL just kidding. Now when you say You don`t mind the writing you just mean the small arrows , yes ?

I have about 70 items - and never had more than 2 or 3 on the desktop. They are all hidden.

There isn't a method to rename it.

Reason is probably because you did not make your own folder. I am sorry, but I do not understand the whole purpose of the excercise anyhow. Maybe you can enlighten me.
I did the following: I created a folder called DT and moved the desktop shortcut into there. Then I used that folder to make the toolbar. Result below when opened - and since this is your own folder, you can rename it.

Unlock taskbar, right click over small dots on the taskbar, uncheck show title.

That does not seem to work - at least here.

I have no Desktop (Writing) and no Arrows in my taskbar On Vista and W7

Yep and I unchecked "show title" - but it did nothing other than a small mess.

That is odd , I can check and uncheck show title with no problems.
Running W7 Ultimate.

I have Home Premium 32bit, later I will check on my 64bit.
