I have been unable to connect to the wired ethernet in my house. Attached is a screen shot of my ipconfig /all. Wireless works fine, and I know I dont have a default gateway for my wired. How do I fix this, this is driving me crazy? Windows Firewall is on, and Im pretty sure that it is the only one.

From what I can see here with the default 169. IP showing up, this usually means that the wired connection is seeing the router but it's not giving it an IP as it should be.

Have you tried resetting the router?

To answer your questions, yes I did that multiple times. But that didnt solve it.
Here's what did. My dad did our own wiring for LAN ports upstairs. Knowing this, I went back to them and re-did the wiring. There must have been a bad connection from one of the wires, or something was wired incorrectly. Nevertheless, I got it working now. Thanks for response.
