Hi,

Is it possible to open Device Manager and have it always show All Devices or do I have to select
"Show Hidden Devices" every time if that is what I want as the default view.

Thank You

Hello Space Cowboy, :)

You can do so using MMC and saving it as a custom MSC file.

Here's How:

:ar: Microsoft Mangement Console - Create Custom MSC - Windows 7 Help Forums

1) Open MMC.

2) In MMC, click on File (menu bar), and click on Add/Remove Snap-in.

3) Select Device Manager in left pane.

4) Click on Add button in middle.

5) Click on OK at bottom.

6) Click on Device Manager in left pane.

7) Click on View (menu bar), and click on Show hidden devices to check it.

8) Click on File (menu bar), click on Save As, and save this custom MSC file to where you like.

This MSC file will open with Show hidden devices remaining checked.
