So I just recently got a new laptop and I put windows 7 on it, I've been looking all over these forums trying to figure out these dang BSOD's and haven't found anything that seems to work. seems like all the info points to drivers.... I've installed / uninstalled / reinstalled Nvidia driver and plenty more. I will post the dump files, but I cannot post the system specs with the program in the "how to post BSOD post" or whatever that thread is, because the program crashes my computer and I believe it is when it gets to something about system display.... Anyways, I would really appreciate any help as this if very frustrating. In bluescreenview, it shows 14 blue screen crashes just from TODAY, all driver power state failures..... help would be amazing, thanks guys! Also, Just tried to upload the dump files and it says that I do not have permission to access them when attaching, not sure why? Thanks in advance everyone!

Dump files have been added. Added multiple different ones from the different driver power state failure errors. Thanks, Cipley.

DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION (c4)
A device driver attempting to corrupt the system has been caught. This is
because the driver was specified in the registry as being suspect (by the
administrator) and the kernel has enabled substantial checking of this driver.
If the driver attempts to corrupt the system, bugchecks 0xC4, 0xC1 and 0xA will
be among the most commonly seen crashes.
Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000062, A driver has forgotten to free its pool allocations prior to unloading.
Arg2: fffffa800c3e4fd8, name of the driver having the issue.
Arg3: fffffa800c3e8010, verifier internal structure with driver information.
Arg4: 0000000000000003, total # of (paged+nonpaged) allocations that weren't freed.
Type !verifier 3 drivername.sys for info on the allocations
that were leaked that caused the bugcheck.

You can update the video drivers: Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers

however, need more info here...
see if you can finally run the SF software to collect more info

It seems that the video card is indeed the biggest suspect at the moment, Cipley. I formatted again last night, was having WAY too many problems. So I went and got just the basic drivers, and everything is working fine. Once I installed the Nvidia driver though, things started going bad again. No blue screens, but explorer crashing, Nvidia control panel wouldn't open, right click on desktop just loads forever, etc. Had all these issues before, also. What else, besides drivers, could cause it? I've downloaded the newest driver multiple times. It's a Nvidia GeForce 630M, just so you know.
Edit: will try the SF tool now, as it should work without the Nvidia driver downloaded. Also, When using the SF tool, do I need to place the dump files back on the computer while running it? I placed the dump files on a USB before formatting. I realize that the problem may be fixed now since there is no Nvidia driver, but I need to be able to use that GPU, so the problems will return once I reinstall the driver (has happened numerous times). Sorry for long replies guys!
Edit: added SF tool's report. Keep in mind that this IS after a format, and does not currently have the Nvidia driver installed.

This install of windows is counterfeit, the product ID matches a Dell OEM key, and the system manufacturer is Samsung, this is only possible through a hackers exploit, please purchase a legal copy of windows format your drive and install with the new legal copy of windows.

The specific version of Windows currently installed was a friend's fix for my Windows 7 Pro key that wasn't working that came with the laptop. Either way, it should have no effect on drivers as it still detects and installs drivers from windows update (or not once I turn it off, which I usually do). I can attempt to format again with the original Windows 7 Pro key that is on the back of the laptop, but it should make zero difference in these problems.

Just found out that the laptop I received is the wrong model from the one I purchased....... Which is most likely why drivers were screwy, because I was installing for the model that i SHOULD have received. Anyways, this thread may be closed if there is a moderator! Thanks!
