directx installation error..

Hi, i was trying to instal directx and this message popped up saying" an internal error has occurred. Please refer to the Dxerror.log and directx.log file to determine the problem"
please help!!

Welcome to Seven Forums adilsakeel. Was there a need to reinstall directx? Perhaps a program tried to install it along with itself? I ask because most often you already have the latest directx already installed. Where did you get the directx download? I ask these questions as #1, you might not need a new directx install, and #2, if you do, we'd need to know why, and which version. If we determine you have the need, and the correct download, then the logs will be necessary.

Let us know what you were doing that started your quest to install directx, and be as specific as possible, including screenshots of any errors , etc.
