It'll run.

So long as your DirectX matches or exceeds the requirement from the game it'll run. If not then it's another issue. Possible with Windows. Isn't Medal Of Honor an XP game? If so, You may need to run the game in compatibility mode for XP SP2 and as Admin. I do that for FSX and FS2004. The old Microsoft Flight Simulators.

I tried but the game during the installation phase tells me that I installed a more recent version of Directx but I need the 8, I tried to change the compatibility parameters but nothing

You can't downgrade, you have DirectX 11 or 12 in Windows 7. It'll work, but the issue is probably Windows 7 compatibility or SafeDisc or SecureROM which requires a hacky way of starting the installer if that's it. How to Play PC Games That Require SafeDisc or SecuROM DRM on Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, and Vista

CD Media World is where I go for the no CD patches.

Is there a configure.exe in the main directory? Which version of MoH? Are there any patches you need to install?

Is this optical media? There may be a copy of some kind of DirectX update on it that you can use. It won't downgrade your already installed DirectX in Windows 7, it would add components you may not already have.

Think I found the answer: windows 8.1 - DirectX 11 is installed but programs say DirectX 9.0c is needed - Super User

Download DirectX 8.0 for Windows - OldVersion.com You may need to rename the download to a .zip extension. So DirectX.zip.
