hi, guys, sorry for poor english

I use a lot the combination ctrl and space to select separate files, keep the crtl key down and using the arrow keys

so I keep ctrl pressed and navigate to the file I want to select and press the space bar to this.

But something changed in the micro and do not know what it is.

in windows explorer when I trigger ctrl and space, the cursor not only selects the file, but it goes into the search box of the windows explorer. similar to what happens with Ctrl + E.

I would like to know what happened and how to disengage it, to return to be able to select files not contiguous without the mouse.

Something you installed on your computer is probably causing this as it does not happen on my Windows 10 PC.

If I press Ctrl+space then continue holding the Ctrl key down while I arrow down and press space again, it works exactly as you want, selecting each file I press space for.

You may want to try using Clean Boot to isolate the cause of the problem.

See here: How to Perform a Clean Boot in Windows 10 to Troubleshoot Software Conflicts
