The following are values taken from
ControlPanel \ AdministrativeTools \ ComputerManagement \ Storage \ DiskManagement
- disk 0 drive C: healthy, primary partition, boot, page file, crash dump
- disk 1 drive F: healthy, primary partition, system, active
- disk 2 drive D: healthy, primary partition, active
- disk 3 drive G: healthy, primary partition
- cdrom drive E:

Everything appears to be working normally but
- disk 0 should be the only drive marked as "system" and "active"
- disk 1 & 2 should not be marked as "active"

My concern is that some time in the future this may become a gotcha!

I need help to correct the disk drive status modes and not lose any data for this is a full working system.

I wouldn't worry about disk 1 & 2, I have an External USB WDC HDD that is marked as Active and 2 that are not, there's no problem with them.

This tells how to make a Primary partition Active, may be the key to removing it.
Mark a partition as active - Windows Help

My External USB WDC HDD that is marked as Active also has a VCD/Virtual CD partition which may be why it's set that way, can be made bootable using software on the VCD.

Berton: followed Microsoft's suggestion which marked drvC as active but also prevented Windows 7 from booting. Used installation disk to repair the BootMgr Missing problem.

Slartybart: using Diskpart I was able to quickly and easily mark drvD & F as inactive.

System and drives appear to working fine. Thanks for you help!
