Disk problems, chkdsk unexpected restart

Is there a way to manually add the recovery partition to the boot menu?

Has it got a OEM recovery partition?

I checked the recovery partition with chkdsk, and there are no errors on it.

If I mark the recovery partition as active and restart my computer, would that work?

Hello, when I tried to copy all the files to my backup folder, the other 6 files were copied, but the "system" file fails to copy with the error "The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error."

NO

DISM was not designed for W7, you have to use the KB i gave you.
because there is a sytem repair in progress we need to stop it, so your in a stable mode

from the reset you need to access command mode during the repair stage set-up and use insert this line, to cancel it
ADMIN Command Prompt
then In the popup window, type the following command and hit Enter to continue.
del X:\windows\winsxs\pending.xml

I deleted the pending.xml file, but when I run SFC /scannow, it still says there is a system repair pending which requires reboot to complete.

There is another small file in the winsxs folder that is called reboot.xml. Should that be removed too?
