After booting laptop last night on a course i needed it for, after windows logo display got black. I rebooted the system and same thing happened again.
I rebooted into safe mode and display was working just fine. I got that laptop temporarily from my sister, and i used it mainly plugged into an old 19 inch 5:4 lcd display.
I did a clean install of win 7 home premium x64 and installed the latest stable version of drivers for the 6470m graphics. All the installation was done on laptop display, but when I rebooted, again after windows logo display gets black.
I tried with chkdsk, sfc scan now, disabling windows desktop manager, and I'm kinda out of options.
I did get once the error that windows desktop manager stopped working, but that's it.
I apologize if this isn't the appropriate section, not sure where to put it.
Any advice is welcome
