I turned off auto pilot since bitdefender seems to thing a game is ALWAYS running and unchecked "adjust power plan settings" on all the profiles that seem to be what was changing it to 15 min.
Now i just need to find out why windows backup keeps saying last back up was never.

Using Windows Backup is not a solid plan. It is not reliable. Many people her use Macrium Reflect. Macrium Reflect Free It is a free imaging program and has never failed me. Give it a try instead of Windows Backup.

Just be aware that you must have a separate HD to backup your files. It does no good to backup on the same disk that your Windows are on.
