Hello everyone, first time poster, i have came here numerous times for help on location of drivers numerous times for other pc's.

I am currently rebuilding a friends pc which is a eMachine W3609 i have installed win 7 ultimate 64 bit, and currently the DLink DFE-530TX+ (rev F) installs the correct driver that is needed, however it can never establish a connection, or identify the network, i have asked her if she was ever able to connect, and apparently she has. So now i am confused and lost of as to why this is the way it is.

So i bit the bullet, and reinstalled windows vista, and again will not identify the network.

I have searched this thread and found the link below, i checked the power management, all was checked, so i unchecked everything, and nothing changed, i have disabled, re-enabled, disabled rebooted, re-enabled, rebooted, nothing has worked. This machine actually never identified the network, even before i installed windows 7.

I am connected through a router, and once i have posted this message, i am going to connect directly to my modem, and see if that fixes the issue. If it does, i will repost here as well.

Still didnt fix the issue, i am almost convinced it is the D-Link network adapter, as i tried it in my pc, and it was the same issue, so if the moderators of this forum feel that this thread needs to be closed i understand, i will report it as such to get some attention.
