I know I don't have my computer stats in my profile, but I had to go somewhere I could get online first. Basically, I've had sketchy internet problems since I moved. Sometimes my internet will run great, other times it just comes up with the DNS error. We have a Mac Airport Express 802.11n router and I'm using the ALFA 802.11g wireless USB adapter. I tried to test it by connecting to another person's open wireless in our building, but still had DNS issues. I tried switching adapters, resetting everything in ipconfig, using Google's Public DNS settings, and my roommates haven't complained of any problems, but I'm the only one with a desktop. I don't have a firewall running.
I get both "Windows can't communicate with the device of resource (primary DNS server)."
and
"DNS server not responding."
What should I try next?
Thanks,
Suzanne
