I'm bloody sick of this,
Everytime I try to connect to the internet, say, firefox
it just opens a ****ing blank page when i open it in IE then it says cant connect i never use chrome because personally it sucks
when i troubleshoot it it says "Your computer seems to be correctly configured but the DNS Server is not responding" something like that.

I've tried a million different ways to fix this, dns flushes, ip renews, preffered dns servers and crap, everything, if anyone knows a working technique then please post

You on a Wired or Wifi Connection?

Check your network connections and see if there is more than one connection active. If you see something named thing "Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter" and its not connected, turn it off and that should fix it.

If not one thing you can see is if you take the machine to another Internet connection to see if the problem persists. Also do the reverse, have a friend bring in a laptop to connect to your internet connection and see if it might be a problem with your ISP.

Something else to consider is try doing things in safe mode with networking. Are you able to use the internet at all in safe mode, if so its possible you might have a DNS Changer on your computer that just tells you it can't connect to anything.

Check your browser settings to see if you are using a proxy at all.

If safe mode still doesn't work, look for something called MiniXP which is a USB Bootable to run computer diagnostics with, somewhat similar to Mac's bootable hard drives. Run some virus scans and see if anything pops up.

Sorry for the slow reply i was busy

My computer uses wireless and can connect to everything such as a game that uses internet or something like remote desktop but its just the browsers

But i sent my computer (laptop) to a technician he said everything is working and its not the dns server its a port that is blocked, he said it should be port 80 since thats what browsers use.

I know almost nopthing about ports and port forwarding whatever but i will ask him what he did to get it right and post it here (If he gets it right)

EDIT: I tried disabling the miniport but it didnt do much

The guy gave me back my laptop, I will later ask him what he did, but for now, my recommendation for anyone who has this problem, just pay a technician to come in and fix it, easiest but most costly way.

When it comes to this issue I don't think its needed to port forward, I think this has something to do with the internet adapter. It either needs a restart or diagnose, other than that it could be a problem originating from your ISP which you can't really solve unless you contact them.

or disabling any other network adapter but the main one you are using for internet connection, other softwares could create a network adapter which would interfere with your internet connection because they will detect that adapter and makes it as a default internet connection when it doesn't give you internet connection.

Software that creates adapters are like hamachi, broadband software, Virtual PC and etcetera..

Based on my experience with DNS not responding issues.

Until the ipconfig/all is posted all I can do is guess at what the problem might be but I'd much rather make a logical deduction using pertinent information which unfortunately is impossible without the ipconfig/all results. :)

Sorry, but I also saw that the technician installed a program called Hijackthis, sounds closely related to networking internet.

Just type ipconfig/all into an elevated command prompt then use the snipping tool in Windows to capture the image. :)

What I need looks more like this.
