Solved Do I have the w32 Blaster?

Restarted a few times and got the applications back. Now it freezes up every time I try to advance post and upload the combo file. Will keep trying.

In trying to get combo file to you I'm going ADVANCED , ATTCHMENTS, BROWSE, SELECTING, UPLOAD, wait for upload to stop,CLOSE WINDOW,CLICK SCREEN,CLICK ATTACHMENTS AND nothing appears on the post..what am I missing?

My REAL BAD ... The report appeared in Notepad. I saved that to the Desktop. This was before I restarted 2 times after Combo did it. When I was looking for it to post to you I saw the Combo icon in downloads and that was what I was trying to post (the Application).. It appears that the Combo report never made it to the Desktop when I saved it. Can I run Combo again or have I blown it??

Click on Computer, then C: drive, look for C:\ComboFix.txt

Go to Start > above it to: Search Programs and files, and type in combofix.txt

This may show it for you.

Have company from out of town, and have not had time to do anything here.
Will take a quick look.

It should be at the top ... it looks like a piece of notebook paper ... it's not in any folders

If you click the

(C:) drive

to the right, it should have the text document in there...

Do you see C:\Qoobox\ComboFix-quarantined-files.txt?

In search for C:\Qoobox\ I get 2 combo txt files

In the C:\Qoobox folder there may be up to 4 previous ComboFix.txt reports

Attach the ones you have.

C:\Qoobox\ComboFix-quarantined-files.txt <<--- If I recall correctly, this is where the files removed backups are listed.

Current run is located at ?:\ComboFix.txt

my back and home buttons have stopped working since combo so my post will take awhile.

When I try to attach the files, which do show up as uploaded, then go back to the post screen, I click the field and click the dropdown attachment nothing drops down. Help me thru this, I've read the instructions 5 times and must be missing something.

Go into control panel, Programs and Features. Uninstall BingBar
Next,
I'd like you to scan your machine with ESET OnlineScan

jacee, BingBar does not appear in program list. In search FRST.txt comes up.

To see where we stand, try to download the following file (Test.bat) to the Desktop using Internet Explorer:

The file does nothing, and is harmless. However, if it downloads successfully, we're good on the "...contained a virus and was deleted" issue.
