Do I need to keep my windows live email address?

I created a windows live email on my PC many years ago.
I only ever used it for windows messenger.
Again many years ago
I use gmail ( set up in my windows live mail programming on my PC)

So is it possible to delete my windows live email account?
Or is it integrated into my PC and something will stop working?

hi, personnaly i would just leave it. not going to hurt anything by keeping it. are you using gmail through the windows live program?

Using gmail through the windows live mail program on PC. Not the webmail one

you can delete the windows live email account from the program and continue using the gmail in windows live. but i would just leave it and have it as a back up to the gmail.
