From the network adapter , i know that I have realtek pc le family controller as network card .
How do I know, if it will support 5 ghz or not
I want to try buying a 5ghz supported broadband wifi router.
Normally I connect the pc thro ethernet wired connection and get wifi from the inner settings of the router.
My present modem cum router dsl dlink 2700u supports only 2.4ghz, which i learnt from accessing the router page details and sub menus.
i could as well buy dlink or any other brand that has support of 5 ghz.
But if my network card does not support 5 ghz, then buying it would be not ideal.
how can i know, if my network card support 5 ghz or not

the computer is connected with ethernet connection
elsewhere I read that 5 ghz gives you somewhat good wifi speed.
my router is old one. please advise.
