Do you name your Computer ?

Being a Star Wars geek, my computers all have Star Wars universe names.

Vader: My main rig (the one I'm typing on). It's more machine than man. Twisted and evil.

Leia: Seemed the only fitting option for the wifey's laptop.

Anakin: The kids' computer. It's tempermental.

R2-D2: Long since retired. This was the name for my PDA.

However, it is a boy PC - It can't multitask for anything.

My Toshiba has a nice simple name - The Beast. :devil:

To scare other lowly network peers packetless, it describes itself on that playground as 'The Big Beast'. :devil2:

Of course, in my Croatian language.

Mine is simple...I call my Win7 Laptop (Dell XPS 1710) "Lappy" and call my main Windows 7 PC "Bertha".

For some strange reason, I've stuck with the same computer name through the last 2 buids... I call mine Monstrosity. Partly because it is a monstrosity compared to most of my friend's machines, but also because it's fun to make people try spell it when they want to access my shared folders at our network gaming sessions...

I've helped name a few other peoples' computers though; we called my ex's machine 'Bubbles' (just to be random), and one of my friends ended up with 'Achilles' (that was because his PSU was a bit funny and sometimes it wouldn't start up, so I started calling his PSU his 'Achilles Heel' and the name stuck).
