I have a devil of a time quite often finding documents I just created and
saved. But I did not look which folder it saved it in, since from years of
working with computers it would always save it to Documents, where a normal
person would want it.

BUT I noticed (after hours of searching,) that it saved the document (a .pdf
file) in a Folder called XKVBTW02, but NOT also in Documents.
This drives me crazy. It's idiotic!!! Why does it do that and why could I
not find it when I searched for .pdf?

How do I fix this so every document is saved in the Documents folder?

BTW It also did not show up under Recent documents, that why it took me
hours to find it again. In above crazy folder.

I have worked with some documents today and saved them "save as" and gave it a name. But I did not look what folder it went into since I was used from years of computing that it would go to my documents.
But it did not.
Looked and looked. Not there.
I worked with another files and again saved it as a "save as" and gave it a name.
THAT is when I noticed it went to some NSP1RMCB folder. Now I cannot find that folder anywhere on the c: drive. I have all hidden folders visable,
What causes this crazy folder, why not at least also in Documents and how can I find this NSP1RMCB folder and fix it so it does not happen in the future?

I read through Ritter197's post 3 times and didn't see a single reference to saving files/downloads from a browser. I don't know where you're going with this "browser" thing. It appears he's saving documents from an application (Word, for example) and it's placing the saved copy in a hidden, questionable, location. To me, it sounds like malware and would have nothing to do with his browser's default save location. I would download Malwarebytes, update, and run a full system scan. To fix the default Windows save location, read this. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/595-library-set-save-folder.html
