I bought a laptop thatshipped with Vista and it was close enough to the Win 7 release that I qualifiedfor a free upgrade to 7. MS sent me a download link, Product Key, and an optionto have the disc shipped which I did not do. Now that I want to re-install,what are my options? I have a Home Premium DVD – does that actually contain theadditional Pro features that are “unlocked” upon entry of the Pro Product Key,or do I need to get the actual disc or download?

Thanks

You might be better just downloading a new iso which already includes SP1 ( unless yours already has SP1, of course).

Thanks for the fast responses - it's good to know I have options. It's true that the ISO with SP1 will be a bit more efficient - I have the Win 7 HP Family Pack that I got when 7 was released - so that meas a zillion updates. then SP1. then a zillon more updates.

Say, if I mark this question as solved, does it close the thread? I may have another question or two once I get into the install.
