Hope I am posting in the correct section, even though I don't use Windows 7 gadgets. I find them to be too distracting and I like a clean desktop.

I searched this entire thread and did not find what I am looking for, maybe someone can help though. :cry:

I would like a program that allows me to monitor my outgoing microphone volume with a simple meter/gauge in my task-bar. Anyone know of an vetted software?

I tried Google but I prefer the recommendation come from here.

Final update:

The problem was fixed by updating my sound card drivers! No VU meter is needed!
