"Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) is an important update that includes previously released security, performance, and stability updates for Windows 7."
So says Microsoft.
Does it mean that an OS which has never been updated does not need preceding updates if SP1 is now installed?
My Windows 7 has never been updated since its installation. It needs be updated for the use of a particular program. Every time update was run, it ended up with total failure.
If SP1 "includes previously released security, performance, and stability updates for Windows 7," then, there is no need to update if only SP1 is installed.
Is this correct?
Please correct me.
Thanks!
