Does Windows 7 64bit save files differently?

I've installed Windows 7 64bit on my laptop and now when I save Divx movies on my external FAT32 hard drive I cannot see the files with my Divx dvd player. It was working fine with when I had Vista and the existing movies are all playable so I was wondering if Windows 7 64bit saves files differently or something that prevents my dvd player from viewing those files.

Thanks,

Mike

No, both 32 and 64 save the same way.
