This is the 3rd time this has happened and the reason I am asking. On my windows 7 system, I have tried to download an .iso file and notice that windows 7 nothing happens and when I tried to burn some image files, the same thing and wondering if there was some sort of protection weird thing new invention or something.

I have no trouble downloading or burning in XP though.
I remember reading that the new OS in a few years (and that was a few years ago) that stuff like this (sneaky protection snoop stuff) was built into the OS. Is this true or do I have something going wrong? Thx:huh:

You must have something wrong as I have no problems downloading ISO's or Burning them. I use Bitcomet for my downloads and PowerISO for burning them.

Hmm. Maybe its Chrome? I use it all the time but weird stuff like live email will not work.
Used browsers for a long time and Chrome by far is the fastest and cleanest for me.

I will try it with IE. Still doesn't explain the non burning though. Can't get it to work right.

Are you all able to burn with Windows 7?
Thx.

There are known incompatibility issues with some ISO-handling applications, like Daemon Tools and MagicIso....

Which application are you using?
