Hello!

I work for a small school in the state of California.
We have every laptop and desktop under a domain. Every student has a network login account as well as teachers.

Teachers ,Faculty and staff have a very smooth time logging into their accounts.(wirelessly and hardwired)

Students have a tough time logging in wirelessly. it takes about ... 5 to 40+ minutes to login. when they login through desktops which are using an Ethernet cable.. it works perfectly fine.

any thoughts, ideas, answers?

if there is any more information i need to supply with please let me know!

Thank you all for the help. much appreciated

Welcome to Seven Forums,

Is there a folder redirection, roaming profile or scripts configured?

Also, on the Student computers that are part of the Domain network, are there a few User Profiles setup in one computer?

How's the DNS configured on the WLAN settings vs the LAN Settings? Are they pointing on 2 different DNS Servers? The preferred configuration is that DHCP and DNS are configured in Windows Server.

Do you have a separate Guest Account for the Students using a separate SSID and network security?
