Downgrading Windows 7 to Win XP (Without Windows.old)

Can someone tell me how to downgrade my windows 7 to windows XP without the Windows.old folder?? i really want my windows XP back

Before you do anything, check whether you can get all XP drivers for your PC. Since you obviously have a very recent PC, that is not a done deal.

But in any case make an image of your current Windows7 so that you can always go back in case the XP experiment does not work. Else, I think replacing Windows7 with XP is a BIG mistake.

How do you intend to install XP - that will depend whether you get the windows.old folder.

Sir the boot setup doesnt appear in my case..or should i say it doesnt boot -_- its like windows 7 is preventing me to downgrade ..

You can not install from Windows 7 decktop, need to boot the PC from Win XP CD.

Sounds like you need a Win XP CD.

i dont know but he has an original XP and he gave me the product key ... he said i can install the windows XP and use his product key.. and he said he lost his original copy of windows XP

If my windows XP doesnt install in my desktop..
But if i boot it from the CD it will not be blocked by the windows 7?
